My family and I have frequented Public School for Friday night dining out. The Buffalo Cauliflower is my favorite appetizer and I LOVE the fish and chips. The batter they use for the fish is so airy but still has a crunch, and the fish itself taste fresh w/ a hint of buttery flavor. YUMMY
I like the idea behind the name of this restaurant. I viewed the menu online before going for girls day out. Due to a "new principal " the have reduced hours and only a brunch menu on Sundays. I ordered the public school burger and sweet potato fries. The burger and sweet potatoes were good. Our waiter Javier was attentive. If mistakes were made he was quick to fix them. I parked in the structure behind the restaurant, parking was only $4 bucks for about 3 hours. There was no validation. Will i return, probably not.
We have a whole group meeting our former colleague who is moving out of US. It was a perfect spot to Pick for crowd.Great experience , friendly service Good food; got fish taco and did not regret , will be there again soon !
Came here for lunch and immediately were taken to our seats. Ordered fried pickles for the table which were delicious. For lunch I got Jess's burger which I recommend, if you're not a fan of spice you can ask for the onion jalepeno jam on the side. The burger came with this delicious herb goat cheese which complimented the turkey burger. The restaurant has great outdoor seating and has a really cute set up playing into the school vibe on their menus.
My son introduced me to this restaurant located in the heart of Culver City. The atmosphere is laid back and classic. The lunch was a family get-together with my son, his wife, and her father, who was visiting Los Angeles. For some reason, we all ended up ordering fish based dishes. The fish tacos were crisp with Baha style veggies. My son's fish and chips were done to perfection. I saw some starters that I wanted to try, and will return to do so. The staff was attentive and the price was reasonable . I recommend this establishment.
Public School 310! What a VIBE!!! I went during their 90's Music Night with a live DJ mixing up a bunch of throwbacks one after another in a seamless transition! It was nostalgic and fun! I must say the bartenders are on point with the cocktails made because I enjoyed every flavorful drop! Maybe even a little too much cause I definitely had at least 4 drinks if not more lol! I also enjoyed the food! I got the Crispy Cauliflower which is a delicious alternative to chicken wings, which they do also offer. One unique food item I just HAD TO TRY is their "PB&J Burger"! Yes, I know it sounds weird, but give it a chance! I was pleasantly surprised at how the combinations of savory flavors were complimented by a slight sweetness from the jam yet somehow stayed balanced and delicious. Also, I find it amusing how it perfectly fits their public "school" theme as I definitely ate PB&J sandwiches as a kid back in my childhood. What was also nice to see was how some of the management staff came up to greet and interact with our table, checking up to see if we were doing okay and if we were having a great time, which is definitely appreciated. Additionally, I have a big sweet tooth and i'm a sucker for ice cream... so I just couldn't leave without trying their desserts! I went with the Nutella Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich! And boy did it fulfill my cravings! It is an ice cream sandwich which I could happily eat all for myself, but it IS large enough to split up and share with up to 4 people which I ended up doing. Overall, I had a fun and lovely experience dining at this restaurant! I definitely recommend this place and I will certainly be back dining here again!
Stopped in for a quick bite and wasn't disappointed. Food was delicious and staff is really friendly and attentive.
Public school 310 is a great chill bar / restaurant in the heart of Culver City. When you walk in, you definitely see the school vibe that the name is based off of which is pretty cool. The restaurant is overall large with lots of seats and a good size bar portion if anyone just wants to chill there. Our server was pretty amazing! He was great with conversation and very attentive. Each staff member that we interacted with were super nice and made sure we were taken care of. For the menu, they have a good selection of choices. They even have a reasonable happy hour menu which has great selections. For food, I ordered the salmon, rice and asparagus which I so appreciated that it was even an option on the menu. A few people with me chose the burger which was a large portion and delicious. This is a great place for any occasion. I highly recommend.
